WE MAKE NEIGHBORHOODS PLACES FOR EVERYONE

We track social dynamics and structures, analyze urban traditions and stories, and thus shape life in local communities. These “real-life connections” underpin the planning process, which spans all aspects, from building planning and social amenities through to sharing concepts.

CASE STUDY

NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING PLACE FOR HAMBURG’S NEWEST DISTRICT

How to create the perfect meeting place for 28,000 residents?

The City of Hamburg wanted it to be a place for everyone. Our answer: a visionary take on local amenities that combines the best aspects of a food market and a restaurant, all in one neighborhood meeting place. Residents are not only able to buy freshly topped pizza and fresh, crunchy salads, but also soak up the atmosphere and have a chat at the on-site à la carte restaurant. If they are feeling inspired, customers can buy all the ingredients at the adjoining counter and make the dishes themselves at home.
